Green Lakes Sunrise Session

I met the Daiuto family for a beautiful sunrise session at Green Lakes State park earlier this summer. They were such an easy-going family and we shared a lot of laughs throughout our time together. I feel that the hardest part of photography for both client and photographer is feeling comfortable enough to let your true personality show. 

I personally try and bring props (in this case a loveseat!) or find locations to help people feel more natural while having their portrait taken. The loveseat helped the true family spirit emerge by letting them cuddle in and play on the couch. After, we were able to go to a more wooded location and by that time baby P was more than happy to give me some amazing smiles and "ham" it up for the camera. It was a great session and I am always grateful to work with such amazing families in the CNY area :)
