It’s Fix-it-Friday!
I worked on today’s photo (which was downloaded from the I Heart Faces website…click HERE for more information!) in Photoshop Elements 8.0 with the help of Nik Software Color Efex Pro 3.o. I used the “Darken/Lighten Center” command to bring up the light on this adorable little girl’s face and I used the healing brush tool to smooth out her elbows a little bit. I removed a few distracting spots from her dress and I cropped and rotated the photo for better placement of our little model (I thought she was getting a little too lost in all that, albeit beautiful, sky). I decided to rotate it, too, because I like the way her hair falls down to the bottom of the frame with a 90 degree rotation. Finally, I used Nik’s noise reduction plug-in and Florabella’s beautiful Retro Vintage action. I just love the Florabella actions. They are so pretty! Very last step was to resize and sharpen for web.
Ta-da!

Here is the Before shot.
See ya’ next week for more Fix-it-Friday fun!
